Village Hall Event Planning

Broadwas Village Hall
The Hall is ideally located a few miles from the Cathedral City of Worcester just off the A44. After its recent extension, the hall alongside a meeting room, both with access to a kitchen offers a warm, spacious space with a low carbon footprint thanks to its modern Air-Source heating system.
It is the perfect venue to host a wide range of events. The hall has previously been used for parties to receptions; clubs to fitness classes; business meetings to community events; and is ideal for children’s parties as you can fit a bouncy castle inside the hall. For more information visit www.broadwasvillagehall.co.uk.

Broadwas Croquet Club is situated in picturesque countryside just off the A44 in the village of Broadwas.  We are just six miles from the centre of Worcester and eight miles from Bromyard.

The club currently has a friendly membership of about 75 playing and social members.

We offer a warm welcome to new members of any age, whether experienced players or folk interested in just trying the game.

Croquet is a game you can enjoy at your own pace, providing good exercise in beautiful surroundings and a convivial atmosphere.

Our club ground has 5 full sized lawns and an excellent well equipped club pavilion, which was built by members in the early years after the club was formed. We have a good range of mallets for potential and new members to use before they make the leap into buying their own. As you would expect, we have all the equipment, such as hoops and balls, needed for playing croquet.

Website for the club can be accessed here

A really big thank you to all the nameless folk that pick up litter and dispose of it so that our local area remains so attractive. THANK YOU. You can report littering, fly tipping and many other antisocial activities to MHDC via their Report It page.
